Larry Woolsey's Celebration of Life

Larry Woolsey's Celebration of Life was well attended by Gila County Mounted Posse, Tonto Rim Search and Rescue, Gila County Sheriffs Posse, Gila County Sheriffs Office, and several other law enforcement and rescue agencies from Arizona.

Maricopa County Search and Rescue provided their SAR Honor Guard and services to complement the Riderless Horse Ceremony conducted by the Gila County Mounted Posse.

Governor Brewer proclaimed April 16, 2011 as *Search and Rescue Day* in honor of the Search and Rescue personnel in the State of Arizona, and tribute was paid to Larry Woolsey at the Arizona Search and Rescue Conference Saturday evening in Heber.

There were probably 300-400 folks attending. The TRSAR Squad was well represented. Bill Pitterle delivered flowers to the podium representing the squad. The red shirts with yellow scarves are the mounted posse folks, The event was clearly a western flavor. The Sheriff delivered the flag to the family.
