Laws that are still on the books.
In Boston, Massachusetts, legislators said a pickle
should bounce four inches when dropped from waist height.
Pickles were outlawed altogether in Los Angeles,
California, for fear the odor would offend people.
To be legal for sale in Connecticut, pickles must
remain unbroken. They must bounce when dropped one foot above a
solid oak table.

Hike,
Bike, & Run is a small, family owned shop. The
shop is owned and operated by Mick and Jackie.
They have two sons (Logan & Austin), a daughter (Mackenzie), and a
dog (Taco).
Mick and Jackie were born and raised in Oklahoma. When Mick
graduated high school in 1994, he hit the road and moved to be a ski
bum in Park City, Utah. During that time he became addicted to
outdoor adventure and never looked back. Mick traveled extensively
through his 20's. He also took numerous college outdoor guiding
courses around the country. Mick has lived and worked as an outdoor
guide, ski technician, bike mechanic, and in outdoor stores in
Oklahoma, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Vermont, Maine, Alaska, Canada,
England, Scotland, and Switzerland.
In early 2005, Mick and Jackie bought a truck and an RV, hit the
road, and spent the 2005-2006-2007 summers working in Alaska. During
the 2005-2006 winter, they worked as outdoor guides for a wilderness
school in Utah. They spent the 2006-2007 winter exploring Arizona in
their RV. After working the 2007 summer in Alaska, they decided to
move back to Arizona to settle down and raise their family. This is
when they landed in Payson and decided to open Hike, Bike, & Run.
Of interest to TRSAR is they carry
the new National Geographic Trails Illustrated Arizona:

Business Cards for Active Members
All active members
are permitted to have business cards with your SAR info on them. If
you do not have them yet, or if you have used up the ones you had,
contact Mike Taylor to place your order. They are nice to have when
you are doing any Squad activities, and the best part is they are
free. A common use for them is to hand out to family members of the
search/rescue subject.
