Those members of Tonto Rim Search and Rescue who have an interest in Technical Rope Rescue can go through a Squad initiated certification. This certification requires you to begin with a basic knowledge of knots. Then attend 4 days of intense training. (Two weekends ) Following the four days classes and field exercises one must attend two more field trainings before becoming a rope team member. These pictures are of those participating in this years class.
