The SAR Academy was presented at the Tonto Rim Search
and Rescue Squad building on the 10th and 11th of April. This
academy is a requirement for new TRSAR members during their first
year of membership. This academy consists of the following:
Legal Aspects of Search and Rescue
Search Theory and Management
Communications
Operational Tactics
Personal Safety
Map and Compass
Tracking and Clue Awareness
